The calibrated Mitutoyo 500-475CAL Absolute Solar Digimatic digital caliper is for measuring inside and outside diameter, depth, and step of items. The LCD screen displays in inches and metric units. This unit has a thumb roller and Absolute electrostatic capacitance-type linear encoder for accurate measurements and a blade depth bar for measuring narrow grooves and recesses. It is powered by a solar cell that can be used continuously above 60 lux ambient illumination.
